Upcoming Events at Fort Dalles Museum and Anderson Homestead

 Arbor Day, April 29, 2016

the public to come visit the grounds of the old fort and view the historic trees which are planted around the Surgeon’s Quarters.  Many of the trees were planted in 1905 in memory of some of the well-known movers and shakers of The Dalles.  Information will be available at the museum about the trees and where they are located on the grounds.  Museum hours are 7 Days a week, 10am to 5pm.  For more information, contact the Fort at 541-296-4547. We are among  more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day,  Labor Day, September 2016.

Free Admission for all ages.

The popular concert series returns to the Fort this summer! The concerts are free to the public. It is recommended that you bring a  lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.  4:00pm to 6:00pm.
